ARTIST INFO
Born in Bournemouth on England's south coast into a musical family I began my singing career as a chorister in St Paul's Cathedral Choir School at 8 years of age. The musical disciplines learned singing there every day have informed the way I sing everything from hymns through classical opera to modern masterpieces.
My Singing education continued at the Guildhall school of Music under such teachers as Ellis Keeler, Rudolf Piernay and David Pollard.
My breakthrough as an opera singer came when chosen from the chorus at Glyndebourne Festival Opera to sing the role of The Stagehand in Janacek's Makropulos Case in2001.
Since 2002 I have lived with my family in Sweden and now reside in Stockholm, and have had the great priviledge to sing around the opera houses of Europe. Since 2018 I have been a member of the ensemble at The Royal Swedish Opera, Stockholm.
